Before you make your visit to the museum, be sure to check our hours of business along with location of the museum.  While Auburn is a quaint little town there are other museums to visit and some historic houses on Main Street that are worth a drive by.  Then when you are hungry there are quite a few unique places to eat and then head to the antique shops in town.  Lodging is not a problem in Auburn if you care to take your time in our museum and need another day on your visit.

When is the Museum open?

Open Sunday thru Saturday from 9am till 5pm..
The museum is closed the following Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

What is the admission for the museum?

Adults = $7.00; Children 6 to 12 = $4.00; Children under 5 = Free;
Group Rates (Please call in advance) = $5.00 each
School Groups in DeKalb County, Indiana = Free
School Groups outside of DeKalb County, Indiana = $1.00 each
DeKalb Co, Indiana residents on the first Sunday of each month = Free.(Must show proof of residency)
Discount on admission $1.00 ea. AAA Show Your Card and Save Program.
Discount on admission $1.00 ea. with DeKalb County Museum Passport

Where’s the Museum Located:

The museum is just 30 miles south of the Indiana Toll Road or 2 1/2 hours north of Indianapolis.

  • I-69 to exit 129 - east on S.R. 8 to Historic Downtown Auburn.  Right on Main Street (Court    House), jog onto Wayne Street to visit.
     
  • I 69 to exit 126 - east on C.R. 11A to C.R. 427, then left (C.R. 427 turns in to Wayne St.).Located adjacent to ACD Museum
